Submit A Business

BusinessIndex.ca accepts suggested business listings for review.

A submission is not a guarantee of inclusion. Listings are curated from public or direct evidence, and inclusion does not mean the business is approved, recommended, ranked, or endorsed.

What To Send

For each suggested business, include:

  • Business name
  • City, province, and country
  • Website or another public source
  • Category, if known
  • Short factual summary
  • Notes that help confirm the public record

Use the Burlington category reference if you are not sure which category fits best.

Review Process

Submissions are reviewed before publication. A listing may be added when there is enough public or direct evidence to create a useful structured record.

Listing statuses mean:

  • listed: a public record or public presence exists
  • observed: public information has been manually reviewed
  • verified: owner confirmation, an authoritative source, or direct evidence supports the record
  • featured: editorially highlighted with an explicit editorial basis
